This was the best place we stayed at our trip. We ate at restaurant nearby and the portions there were huge so we recommend that also. ☺️ the views were stunning and we woke up when birds started to sing. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable.

Lastnik, ki nas je bil pričakal je bilo zelo prijazen. Ker smo bili videti nekoliko utrujeno in malo premrzli nam je takoj ponudil vročo kopel, ki smo si jo z veseljem privoščili. Poleg tega pa je lokacija na samem in sam objekt zelo lično narejen.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Gostoljubje lastnikov me je prav presenetilo. Počutili smo se kot doma. Največje presenečenje pa je bil okusen zajtrk v prečudovitem ambientu. Pa zvečer smo videli še severni sij.

Nastanitev Golden Circle Domes - Glamping Experience je v mestu Selfoss, 35 km od znamenitosti Narodni park Thingvellir, na območju, kjer lako uživate v pohodništvu. Perfect! We happened to see the aurora that night and the forest was perfect for northern light photos! The accommodation also comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a fancy bathroom, with an indoor fireplace that was just what we needed during a cold night out trying to capture photos.

Exceptional. Facilities amazing. Bedrooms extremely comfortable Kitchen & Bathrooms very good Hot tub and Barbecue great additions to the house Helga was very helpful and welcoming. A brilliant overnight stay had by all.

Nastanitev Valhalla Yurts Odin se nahaja v mestu Selfoss, le 42 km od znamenitosti Veliki gejzir in 19 km od znamenitosti Ljosifoss, ter ponuja brezplačen WiFi in razgled na gore. Rick and Jitka are perfect hosts! Super friendly and they have a great eye for details. The yurt was VERY charming. Toilet and shower is a few meters away and just as charming as the yurt. It all adds to the experience! Breakfast was great, way too much actually! Absolutely the best stay we had in Iceland on our two week trip. Wish we would have had an extra night here! Tip for anyone complaining about that it's hard to find: just follow the route descriptions you get by e-mail and you will be just fine.

Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.
