Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. The cottage was HYGGE! completely cosy and perfectly decorated, with a beautiful view out the front windows. The kitchen was fully equipped. We loved it here!

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Siistit huoneet, yhteinen keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja aamupala oli erittäin hyvä.

Skútustadir Guesthouse sijaitsee maatilalla Mývatn-järven etelärannalla. Majoituspaikkaan kuuluu jaettu keittiö/lounge, ja sieltä on vuoristonäköala. Skutustadir was such a lovely place to stay with my grown children. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and inviting. The host was kind and accommodating. We had been waylaid 3 times due to road closures and they were incredibly responsive to our needs and rebooked us without penalty, which was a huge relief. (Other properties were certainly not so kind and we lost a fair amount of money on places we never got to stay!) This place was super clean- cleanest we stayed at by far and the breakfast was amazing. I can’t say enough positive about Skutustadir guesthouse. Also, our dinner at the nearby hotel was incredible- their beef lasagne was to die for!!
