JamboHouse Lamu está en Lamu, cerca de Lamu Fort, Gallery Baraka, y Lamu Museum. Dispone de wifi gratis y terraza. Al llegar alguien me esperaba en el aeropuerto (servicio gratuito) para acompañarme al hostel. Esto siempre se agradece. El dueño, Arnold, que es viajero también, es un pozo sin fondo de información, que te facilita las cosas desde el primer momento. El hostel que es sencillo pero coqueto, está dentro del casco viejo. Llegar cada día y cada noche hasta allí es un placer viajero. El área es muy segura. Tiene un roof top muy aprovechable.

Jua House dispone de vistas a la ciudad, terraza y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento con una ubicación ideal en Lamu, a poca distancia de Manda Beach, Playa de Shela y Mnarani House. I loved how clean it was and how much attention was paid to details. Thé staff, especially Amani were very friendly and helpful and helped me navigate my way around.

Su ubicación, la tranquilidad, la amabilidad del personal y de los dueños. La decoración es preciosa, cada rincón está cuidado con el más mínimo detalle. Puedes pasear por todo el alojamiento, leer en cualquier espacio... La habitación es muy amplia y la cama es cómoda. El desayuno para mi, lo mejor. Todo casero y riquísimo. Si vuelvo a Lamu, repetiré sin duda.

Umma House está a pocos pasos de 18th Century Swahili House Museum y a 3 min a pie de Lamu Museum, y dispone de wifi gratis y terraza. Esta villa también tiene piscina privada. The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

Makubwa House está a solo pocos pasos de Lamu Museum y dispone de alojamiento en Lamu con salón de uso común y terraza, además de cocina compartida. Este alojamiento con vistas al mar ofrece balcón. amazing Swahili house over 3 floors. comfortable for 5/6 people in 3 rooms with more beds in open areas. absolutely stunning place could have spent longer there. we organised for the chef to buy some groceries and cook us breakfast which worked really well.

El Beytsalam, situado a 300 metros del fuerte de Lamu, ofrece alojamiento con salón común, terraza y cocina compartida. Hay WiFi gratuita. Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

Wildebeeste Lamu dispone de alojamiento en Lamu, cerca de 18th Century Swahili House Museum y de Riyadha Mosque. This place never disappoints. This was my second time staying here and it still exceeded my expectations. The flat I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed with some artful collections of antique Swahili style furniture. There was access to a private fully equipped kitchenette with an adjacent outdoor dining/ lounging area. The room was airy and well ventilated and also had a very spacious bathroom that had great shower pressure! Joshua is an exceptional host, responsive, warm and welcoming and very attentive. He has even made provisions for Solar lights in case of power outages which were infrequent during my stay and only lasted a few minutes at a time. The Wilderbeeste provides all the comforts and necessities of a home away from home yet its quirky and historical design provides a sense of adventure and novelty needed for a retreat! Can't wait to return for a longer stay!

El Banana House and Wellness Centre cuenta con piscina al aire libre y se encuentra en la localidad de Shela, a 2,7 km de la galería Baraka. El establecimiento se encuentra a 2,8 km del fuerte Lamu. This is a wonderful place to stay! It's a little haven from the busy lanes of Shela and Lamu Town .... so peaceful and calming. Its pretty garden, pool and relaxing ambience make it a stunning choice to totally unwind. Yoga and a massage spa are available. The staff are friendly and personable and the food is excellent. One evening we had a choice of a swahili meal cooked by local women ....incredible !! We loved our stay and were sad to leave.

Swahili Dreams Apartments se encuentra en Lamu, cerca de Lamu Museum, Lamu Fort, y 18th Century Swahili House Museum, y ofrece wifi gratis. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada y un baño privado. The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.

This villa was gorgeous, in the historic Swahili style of Lamu. We had the loveliest time here. The location is relatively quiet though you are in the middle of town - we walked everywhere easily. There is also good Wi-Fi which was great for us as we were working remotely on some of the days. The rooftop has a lovely breeze and sitting area where the Wi-Fi reaches. There is also a very nice sitting area around the small pool. Jamhuri, who welcomed us on arrival, was friendly and easy to communicate with. With enjoyed every moment of our stay and I would definitely return again.
