Rooms, bathrooms and linen were very clean. There's hot water in the shower. Water pressure in my room was great. Sound proofing is decent. There's a shared outdoor seating area with a couple of hammocks where I'd lounge about all day. The wifi is strong and stable. They have tea, coffee and bananas at the front desk. Ask for bottled water if you need some. The ever-smiling Mr. Sinsai is an amazing host. He speaks fluent English and is always available, should you need anything. He got me some terrific deals on tours. Also helped book bus tickets to Luang Prabang. The highlight of my stay was the New Year's Eve barbecue which he helped me setup! 10/10 would recommend. I'm gonna stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Hammocks are best to chill during the midday heat. The bed is comfortable and the room was clean :) the location is perfect as it is close by to everything :) we didn't have any prior mentioned noises at night, so I can definitely recommend it :)

Muang Ngoi Village in Laos is a 30-minute boat ride from Nam Ou River Lodge, while a 1-hour boat ride takes guests to Hundred Waterfall. Luang Prabang International Airport is a 3.5-hour ride away. Very cool place. Location is great, they view from the property is on the river and mountains, very calming. Rooms itself big enough and stylish. A bit Asian style toilet but it’s totally ok for this budget. Woman from personal where super helpful and creative in some situations. It was a great, comfort stay.
