Kong was such a nice host and he welcomed me with a smile and helped me with so many things! I was so sad about only having time to stay there for 1 night cause he was so comfortable to be around. I didnt go on his tour but i really wish I had! The bed was nice and the outdoor seating was really good aswell. Just a very chill man and very flexible. He welcoms everyone and helped me get a tuktuk to the busstation in the evening.

The rooms were amazing The hospitality even betteas belgians doing a long motorcycle trip, we were so pleased to have a warm belgian welcome with belgian beers and even Belgian stew. But no need to be a belgian, this is the place everyone wants to stay

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and English-speaking. They helped us arrange a motorcycle for rent, and also arranged a drop-off for the airport. The guesthouse itself is very comfortable and clean. Definitely great value for cost.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.
