Incredible property, clean and luxurious tents, incredible food, very knowledgeable guides. I highly recommend. Do remember to budget for a game ride($70pp), it's a must see/do.

Located on the border of Wilpattu National Park, Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team offers spacious tents with an attached partitioned bathroom. Surrounded by wildlife and nature, the camp-site is 7 km from the park’s entrance and just 500 metres from the park's boundary. Staff were incredibly helpful, the tent was clean and comfortable and the food was amazing - especially the candlelit dinner. We did the morning safari and the driver and guide were both excellent, spotting lots of wildlife and giving additional information. Highly recommended!

We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The spacious villa includes 1 bedroom, a living room, and 2 bathrooms with a bidet. Towels and bed linen are featured in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. It's a fantastically designed property for the location and the safari was made more enjoyable by the fact that we were staying at this property. The staff member who showed us the property also provided us with meals - he was fantastic. The host communication was also good and made me feel at ease that we would enjoy the safari booked via the host.

Make sure to ask about safari price including or excluding the national park fees. The dinner add on was very delicious!
