The owner Buddika was very friendly and helpful. He managed to arrange a great safari for us in Yala national park for next day at a good price even though we arrived late. And safari exceeded our expectations, during exciting trip we watched elephants, crocodiles, varan, peacocks, buffalos, dears and even a leopard very close that is a great luck and also made wonderful pictures. In addition I would like to mention excellent service and hospitality. Buddika picked our luggage up, arranged a dinner for us in the restaurant, presented welcome drinks and always helped to solve all questions.

Kele Yala is located just 15 minutes and 7 km away from the Katagamuwa Entrance of Yala National Park, where there is less traffic compared to the main entrance of the National Park. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

Bike hire is available at this resort and the area is popular for cycling. The resort also offers car hire. Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host was very welcoming and received us with wood apple juice. The room was exactly as described, with a good AC working perfectly and hot shower. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day. For the day with the safari, the host provided breakfast when getting back, which was very nice. The homemade dinner was very tasty and abundant. Also the host helped us to take the bus nearby the accommodation. Highly recommended if you go to Tissa and want a peaceful place to stay. The only minus could be that WiFi works well outside, in the room the signal is weak.
