We walked to the nearby town of Vianden and visited the castle, and we also walked across the nearby bridge to Germany and hiked to a castle on that side of the river. It was beautiful and peaceful!

Situated just 26 km from Vianden Chairlift, B&B Berkel in old farmhouse features accommodation in Bockholtz with access to a garden, a bar, as well as full-day security. A wonderful place surrounded by forested hills with a clear-water stream nearby. Breakfasts are fresh (with home-baked buns!) and tasty and the owners are incredibly nice. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and well equipped.
