I loved everything about the property, the room was super clean (it smelt so fresh), the breakfast was delicious and the hosts Ashley, Varsha and the mother were hospitable. Offering a garden and garden view, Shanti Nivas is situated in Poste de Flacq, 19 km from Le Touessrok Golf Course and 23 km from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. Jay is a fantastic and very welcoming host. We were welcomed like at home, with a cold drink and cool towels, after a long all-day trip. The apartment was spacious, convenient and very clean, there was a beautiful view from the balcony (a small beautiful garden with many species of domestic an more exotic plants - home to a red fody family). Fantastic rooftop and common spaces. We stayed there for one night only but we felt like at home. I really recommend Jay's place for a longer stay. It's not located directly at the beach but it's calm, offers a beautiful view from the roof and most importantly you can stay at a place owned by someone who grew up there and can tell you a lot about Mauritius. If you have a car you can easily reach both the noth and south of the island (also by bus, but a bit more difficult). The place is also very close to the Bras D'eau reserve and Poste La Fayette beach which is one of our favorite ones in Mauritius. Definitely worth it.

She made me feel so welcome from the start. She picked me up from my boat tour, she gave me the best recommendation for a local massage and dinner. The place was beautiful and spotless. I felt so comfortable. Thank you so much Kirstin for making my stay in Trou d'eau douce a memorable one. I'll be back! Much love ❤️

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. This place is not a hotel, it's a warm welcoming home. Location: the place is very private and peaceful. It's a nice location to visit the whole north east coast. Food: the food is cooked with love, with a perfect fusion of Mauritian and Thai cuisine. Staff: the family that owns this place has poured all their heart into it! Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Boasting quiet street views, The Starlight provides accommodation with patio, around 5.6 km from Le Touessrok Golf Course. With pool views, this accommodation offers a balcony and a swimming pool. The staff was very friendly, and the house was really clean. The staff took care of us carefully so that we would not be uncomfortable, and although it was a short stay, he did his best. I strongly recommend this place

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Viccos Villa - Brand New Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce is located in Trou dʼ Eau Douce. The house is located in a new neighborhood just a few minutes drive from the beach. Nice and quiet area which felt very safe. The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.
