We had a great stay at Naura Roomstay. The host Luka is super friendly, welcoming and hospital. The room is clean and the view is amazing from the terrace. You look right into the jungle when having breakfast. The breakfast is also very good. The place is a little further away (30 min walk) from the village, but Luka (or his assistant Zul) will bring you and pick you up every time you go the rainforest or the village. Also Luka and Zul will help you out with everything you need, including arranging tours. We would definitely recommend this place and we would love to go back! Thanks Luka and Zul!

Situated in Taman Negara, Balai Serama Guesthouse offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features a restaurant and provides free parking space on site. I was a little bit sceptical about the included half board option but it turned out to be the best decision. There were quite a lot of options to choose from and it was delicious. Also I usually do not book tours from hotels due to overpricing but it seemed they have regullar price + it was a nice lift forward and backward in a Hilux trunk seats. My family also liked a very nice and maintained tropical garden.

Set in Kuala Tahan in the Pahang region, Durian Chalet has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Durian Chalet felt like home. The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

Nestled within private gardens, Tahan Guest House offers accommodation in Kuala Tahan. Free WiFi is available in public areas. I came for a couple of days, and in the end extended my stay for a whole week. Very good location, close to restaurants and the jetty. The room is simple but very cozy. Bed is super comfortable. I felt safe with a huge net above it. Rooms have little balconys with a nice view. The owners are super helpful and friendly.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! This is the perfect guest house to use as home base for a few days of hiking and exploring Taman Negara. The balcony is big and spacious with a sitting area and a rack to dry clothes (much needed after swimming in waterfalls and getting splashed on the boat). The room is so clean and spacious with a little sitting area for breakfast coffee. We were more comfortable here than in any other guest house in our month traveling in Malaysia. 11/10 would recommend!!!

The owners are really friendly and kind, the rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms as well, there’s air con and a window, a nice terrace with a roof, chairs and a table, a place where you can hang your clothes for drying, refill station for water (cold and hot), there’s tea and snacks on the porch, the location is in the center of the small village and close to the river. I hurt my foot on a jungle tour and the owner was so kind and went to the restaurant nearby and came back with a pack of ice to cool my ankle. Liked it here very much!!!

The place is basic but very peaceful. I had the dorm to myself which was great to recover from illness.
