Bananoz Surfhouse er staðsett við sjávarsíðuna í El Tránsito, nokkrum skrefum frá El Transito-ströndinni. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum og einkabílastæði eru á staðnum. Friendly, family orientated atmosphere. I loved the Guesthouse type vibes. Super chilled out. Plenty of hammocks and places to eat/chill/whatever. Phenomenal value for money. Had everything you needed re: amenities. Kitchen was great. Carmilo the owner was available on weekends and cooked us crepes for breakfast with a cup of coffee and a dart. He had great local knowledge and was always happy to help out. .

Hotel Al Sole er staðsett í León og býður upp á ókeypis reiðhjól, garð, bar og sameiginlega setustofu. I stayed 2 different times at the start and end of my trip. both were great! the property has a cute garden area with pool, lovely breakfast options and the room was clean and cozy. the staff are so friendly and helpful! they helped me get a taxi and figure out bus details to get to Managua.

The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

JAKES ON THE BEACH er staðsett í Las Peñitas, í innan við 80 metra fjarlægð frá ströndinni í Las Peñitas og 1,4 km frá Poneloya-ströndinni en það býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi... Amazing staff and place! 100% recommended.

Wabi Sabi er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í León þar sem gestir geta nýtt sér útisundlaugina, garðinn og barinn. Big comfortable bed. Aircon worked great. Large and fully equipped kitchen. Very clean. The pool was ideal to cool off in. Good location. We arrived too early at around 11am and were able to hang around and use the pool etc until check in time.

Camping Ojo de Agua er staðsett í Nagarote á Leon-svæðinu og er með garð. Það er 1,8 km frá El Transito-ströndinni og býður upp á sameiginlegt eldhús. Campground býður upp á fjölskylduherbergi. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

Nimbu Beachhouse státar af útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn og býður upp á gistingu með garði, í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá El Transito-ströndinni. Really nice accommodation, felt more like an air B&B. Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Highly recommend! Thanks Karin, Gretel, Lucy ,Chris & the rest of th team!

Casa Todo Bueno er staðsett í aðeins nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá El Transito-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými í El Tránsito með aðgangi að útisundlaug, garði og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. The house is gorgeous, and John and Janelle go out of their way to provide a comfortable and beautiful space. Very close to the beach. The rooms (there's only 2) are spacious, comfortable, have great private bathrooms, and you'll want to pay for the AC. There's a kitchen with pots, pans, implements, but you'll have to bring your own food. There's a pulpería just across the street, good for snacks & basics, but better stores are about a 20 min walk away. The road is a much shadier and cooler route to town than the beach, and definitely easier if you have kids. Overall, staying here was a wonderful experience, and we'll return in the future. I lived in El Tránsito in the 70s and early 80s, a couple of houses down from Casa Todo Bueno. Staying here brought back wonderful memories, and we hosted my local Nicaraguan family here one of the days we stayed. They loved it, and we made some great new memories. Plan on staying here for more than a night. The peaceful environment really needs a few days to be appreciated. The upstairs deck and lounge/kitchen area are stunning. Definitely visit the pool at the general's house.

El Callejon Guest House er staðsett í León á Leon-svæðinu og er með verönd. Þessi heimagisting er með loftkælingu og svalir. The room was so clean and they gave us fresh towels and clean bedding each night (we stayed for 2 nights). The shared bathroom felt more like a private one and was only shared with one other room. The location was great with a short walk to the center and lots of restaurants close by. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. We had to leave at 2am for our shuttle and they kept the door open so we could leave easily.
