Situated in Rivas and only 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, Hostal Brisas del Ometepe features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features quiet street views. The homestay has family rooms. Room was basic, but very clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay after leaving Ometepe. Owners were very welcoming and friendly! We would stay here in the future if we were visiting Ometepe again.

Staff were wonderful, Rafa was very accomodating and the ladies who prepared breakfast (yum) were very friendly! Location was great, close to the main part of town (3-4 min walk) but not right in the hustle and bustle. Air conditioning in the rooms was great and a must, it is super hot in SJDS.

The family is so nice and made us feel super welcome. The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

Ananda Guesthouse uses passive cooling techniques, bio-digestors, solar-heated hot water, organic farming and furniture made from locally sourced hardwoods. Amazing apartment with a huge bed and a lot of space. It was very handy to repack our luggage. Very good breakfast for a good price. Kind staff. Great garden. Two lovely dogs and a cool cat. You need go have a off road vehicle (but imo it is very handy for the rest of ometepe as well). There is nothing we didn't like. It was super!
