I cannot fault this place - it’s the best place we stayed in Norway and potentially the best place I’ve ever stayed!!! Stunning views and such a cosy space.

Everything basic you need is basically provided; even as basic as cooking OIL! Leif also provided homemade bread. In a small building, we can do a BBQ and sauna.

The living room and the kitchen is the best part of the house.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in February and we could not have asked for a more tranquil and picturesque village. The apartment was super warm, cozy, and dry despite the wet, cold weather, and the rooms were made up beautifully. The place is incredibly large and spacious with all the linens and toiletries we needed. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking and the large table was the perfect space to eat dinner while looking out on the sea. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and everything was very clean. We definitely look forward to coming back again!

Destination Senja - Skaland has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Skaland. The property features mountain views. Featuring a private entrance, the apartment allows guests to maintain their privacy. The location of the apartment is perfect in Senja. It's close to the touristic road, there are some nice hikes around, and the food shop is just nearby (reachable by foot). The view is really nice as well, it is a pleasure having breakfast while looking at the fjord. Easy parking. The apartment itself is very neat with all you could need for a perfect stay over a few days or a week. I think it's excellent value!

Their hospitality towards my family was unparalleled. Set against the backdrop of an island with history, this haven offers a unique ambiance that's becoming rare in our contemporary world. An island of serenity and a distinct oasis. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The holiday home has an outdoor fireplace and a sauna. Tommy did his best to accommodate his guests. U could sense all lovely details in every corner of this authentic house(thank you for the Xmas deco!). We particularly enjoyed the outdoor wood-burning BBQ house, well equipped kitchen/sauna, music instruments such as piano and guitar(our kids love this!), nordic ski/snowshoes gear arrangement and plus the beautiful large-size woodburner in the house. These add extra charm during our stay. On top of that, this house is secluded in nature, surrounded by mountains/river and a lake. That was the main reason why we booked here. Every single day you just want to stay "home" to feel the nature and the absolute seclusion feeling. On the New Year's Eve, tsk to Tommy's suggestion, we celebrated the firework show together with the local folk from Finnsnes. On the new year day, we did a 3h power walk/hike through the river and woods with our snowshoes and ski. It was perfect to feel the day one of the year with this beautiful nature. Highly recommended.
