Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. Breakfast was in the frig; bacon,eggs, toast and fruit. Lovely, friendly hosts with beautiful gardens. Highly recommended.

Ranfurly Cottage is located in the historic township of Raetihi. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a private bathroom with free toiletries. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cottage itself was charming and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delightful.

Tongariro Suites is located right within the national park, and the studio room we stayed in was beautiful and extremely clean. There were snacks and food for breakfast that was already put together in our kitchenette when we arrived which was convenient since we were leaving early in the morning and wouldn't have time to stop anywhere for food. There was also a private patio outside our room that overlooked a pond as well as a larger patio outside the common area with a hot tub and outdoor furniture. Strong Wi-Fi and free parking onsite were also a plus!

Free breakfast, free WiFi and free parking are all included at The River Lodge, offering spacious rooms with satellite TV. You can relax in the 6-person hot tub or in a hammock beside the river. Dani was an incredible host, very warm and helpful. We loved our stay and the new chalets are such a cosy environment for winter. Finished to a really high standard. Breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was perfect for those chilly winter evenings. We would definitely visit again.
