We loved our stay at Elmars home. It was very nice, we could even take Elmars motorbicycle to drive to the city, they prepared a nice breakfast and provides us with everything we needed. We loved the pool, the jungle and animals around and we loved little Toby :-)

Rosa's House is an amazing place just outside the city of Puerto Maldonado. Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was our second stay at Tronco Tambopata, and it felt like coming back home. We were so warmly received and hosted, and only wish we could have stayed longer. Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. Senor Eduardo is very welcoming and an excellent cook. He made us feel at home, helped organize tours and even came with us in the night to see the baby caimans in a pond on his land. The location is very quiet and secluded, the habitacion very intimate and in the night you can hear the multitude of birds that inhabit the area. Also, a monkey was on our roof during the night.

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. The breakfast was delicious, you could eat as much as you want, and the rooms were very comfortable, there were some mosquitoes though, but I think it's because it's the rainy season. The staff was great!
