Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. Absolutely excellent accommodation. We wish we had been able to stay longer.

La Quinta De La Rosa és un allotjament de propietat familiar situat en una finca vinícola, a la riba dreta del riu Duero, a 2 km de Pinhão. This is such a nice hotel in a beautiful location close to Pinhao (walking distance). The view over Douro river is breathtaking and the different facilities so nicely renovated. The breakfast one of the best I have ever had and the dinner restaurant served super good food - no need to eat in the village. Stay at the hotel and enjoy the facility, the view and the great food. Of course the wines are excellent and also - to our surprise - the beer.

Amazing house, with beautiful bedrooms. Really peaceful spot. With gorgeous views of the river and the nature. Outside pool really well located and a cool inside pool. The owners are amazing and talented storytellers and hosts. The dinner was spectacular, the wine, the meat, all amazing.

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The space was very clean and the location in the middle of nowhere but close from the city was perfect

The apartment is beautifully renovated. It was comfortable and convenient to shops, parks, and historic sites. It is very well equipped for self-catering with all modern equipment. The washing machine was really appreciated, as was the fresh fruit and sweets... a very nice touch! The terrace was a bonus! Carlos was quick to communicate, and it seems he really cares for his guests. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz, a property with a bar, is set in Lamego, 1.4 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, 16 km from Douro Museum, as well as 36 km from Natur Waterpark. Everything was very clean and nice. Studio is quite small but cozy and for two days it was enough. We didn't cook so I can't tell how it would be if we did. Bathroom is nice and spacious. We booked studio on 2nd floor but the owner gave us 3rd floor for a better view.

Situated within 32 km of Mirandela Medieval Bridge in Alfândega da Fé, Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
