Very friendly and historic atmosphere at the same time! We felt very welcome and like at home! The host was fabulous! We were here 16 years ago, this year and will stay again if travel in this area!

We had a wonderful stay at SERRA with our family of 5. The design of the hotel is wonderful and very authentic but manages to combine modern touches. The pool is heated and has views of the mountains making it very relaxing. The property is clean and has great facilities within the apartment. Jessica and the team do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing all the information you need - very hospitable. The highlight for my kids was the pond with turtles and fish - a great touch! This is a great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and hope to return one day for another stay! Thank you to the SERRA team!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Casa dos Andrades is a recently renovated guest house located in Belmonte, 37 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Cute little guest house close to the historic centre and with everything you need for a couple nights (or more) stay. Room and bathroom were spotless clean, comfy mattresses, a shared equipped kitchen and common room. Thanks to an oven in the living room and AC in the bedroom it was even during cold winter days and nights pleasently warm. And thank you to Marcela - the extremely welcoming and friendly owner!

A very interesting project, hotel in a farmhouse concept, modern and comfortable! Very good breakfast! I highlight the warm welcome from Teresa and Telma, they bring life and joy to the place!

Located in Guarda, 800 metres from Guarda Castle and 600 metres from Guarda Cathedral, zélu apartamento centro da Guarda provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Everything was first class. The location was within walking distance to the town square. The host kindly left a welcome bottle of wine.

Featuring free bikes, garden and views of garden, Be Alva is set in Oliveira do Hospital, 48 km from Manteigas Hot Springs. Peaceful location, only 4 rooms. Sparsely decorated, but with everything you need. The staff were wonderful, especially Madelena who gave us a full tour of the place, including a tour around their goat sheds next door. We got to cuddle baby goats! Also a fabulous breakfast.

We've had a trully oustanding, wholesome and relaxing time at this property. All the elements have been thought through to combine into a perfect, authentic experience - you can tell the property owners have put heart, mind and soul into this project. Will 100% be coming back.

A nice quiet place close to the mountain. Good suggestions from the owner to a nice roadtrip up on the mountain.

Located in Videmonte, 17 km from Guarda Cathedral and 18 km from Guarda Castle, Casa do Chefe provides accommodation with amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. The warmest welcoming I’ve ever experienced. Loved the place from the first second.
