This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.

Casa dos Remedios er staðsett í Angra do Heroísmo, um 2,1 km frá Silveira-ströndinni og býður upp á borgarútsýni. Location was perfect! Just on the edge of all of the restaurants and shopping. Close enough to walk there easily, but not have the noise and traffic sounds. And the view, what can I say, it was amazing! We bought some wine and cheese and enjoyed watching the water on the balcony before dinner every night.The property is clean and modern and nothing was missing, everything you need is right there.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.
