Free washing machines and you hang your clothes out to dry. Also, when it started to drizzle while we were visiting the butterflies, the staff brought the clothes in under the roof. Unlike most homestays, they had a lift. Free parking lot adjacent to the building.

Melody goes above and beyond to make her guests‘ stay as pleasant as possible and provides everything one can imagine needing: from insect repellent at the door for every guest to use to amazing home-made breakfast according to the guests’ wishes (we got chinese vegetarian) and great restaurant recommendations. The house and rooms are spotless and very cosy. The area is a great place to stay and very centrally located near Pier 2 and a metro station. We loved our stay. Thank you, Melody!

The VIP lounge and washing machines are so convenient. This is my first visit to Taiwan and I'm glad I chose to start my adventure with a stay at Sam's House.

Amazing B&B with great facilities like the kitchen. We had free coffee every morning from a great espresso machine. Room was super spacious, super clean and comfortable. To top that up, you had a coin laundry in the same building. So convenient.

The room was very large, split level with a separate sleeping area and cozy reading nook for our child. The decor was animal themed which my child loved. The main bed was huge and comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check out about 45 mins late with no extra fee. Although no breakfast is available the hotel provides fresh fruit, cookies and drinks which was wonderful, and there is a good breakfast shop a few minutes walk away. The location is in a quiet area but walking distance to Ruifeng night market and a short drive to the lotus pond.
