The place is amazing, our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The yard is an awesome place to relax and drink you coffee with the hanging bed stealing the show.. Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful and when we had to leave early in the morning we had our breakfast packed for us! Totally recommended ✨️ We will definitely come back!

Francisca and her family are awesome hosts! Very friendly, generous and welcoming! The room is spacious, clean and modern with comfortable bed. Exactly what you need after a long trip. The food is delicious (dinner and breakfast) and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I can totally recommend it, choose it if you want to feel like home and get to know the tanzanian culture :)

Mambo Hideaway, a property with a bar, is situated in Arusha, 7.5 km from Old German Boma, 8 km from Uhuru monument, as well as 9.2 km from Njiro Complex. Mambo Hideaway is a delightful oasis with an outdoor bar and lovely garden. I stayed in the bungalow and it was spacious, comfortable and clean with a good shower. Aziz and Glorie were terrific hosts. Glorie lives on site, takes care of everything, makes a delicious, abundant breakfast and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought more fuel for the generator so I could access some important messages on wifi. Mambo Hideaway is a great value, run by warm and caring people and I'm very glad I stayed there.

The room was big and really well decorated, with attention to details. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Elizabeth Home Hostel in Arusha, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the host, Salha, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the emphasis on safety. As a solo traveler, safety is always a top priority for me, and I found this hostel to be exceptionally secure. From the secure entrance to the well-lit common areas (with security cameras), I felt at ease throughout my stay. The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.

Friendly and they do the extra effort for you. The location is also splendid. You get the real village wibe away from the tourist explosion

Boasting mountain views, Double Tent - Dolly Farm & River Camp features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 25 km from Old German Boma. Altogether a marvelous 'retreat' for a few days, in exceptionally large and comfortable queen-size bed tents, fully equipped with shower etc. And chef on site prepares breakfasts to die for, delicious lunches (on-site or take-out) and super tasteful wholesome dinners. Not a la carte but make your wishes known and she'll surprise you! Meals are taken under majestic trees and the open sky near an open campfire, an elegantly set table, country-style. A brook is running near, down below in the gorge. Its soft rushing sound soothes the soul and assures a restful sleep. No need to stay awake past 9:30, and while birds might try to awaken you at the crack of dawn, the comfort of your bed will lull you back to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights, there are only three tents, and they are spaced wide apart, so plenty privacy!
