The owner was helpful and friendly, she contact me before my trip on whatsapp, and gived good information. The accomodation is a new builded house, beutifull. The breakfast and the dinnervwas tasty a plenty. The accomodation is near the gorilla track meeting point. The owner put the fire to dry the wet shoos for the next day gorilla track. The suites are based in a new and well-appointed house and are served by capable and friendly staff. Makanga Hill sits up above the hustle of downtown Kabale, with very nice grounds and rewarding views. One can pleasantly walk down across the golf course and into the City center in about 30 minutes; or you can hire the house (Benz!) SUV to drive you; and of course there is a lovely (and secure) carport if you are driving your own vehicle.

It was stunning. We’re so happy we got the room with the balcony because it had such a beautiful view and we really enjoyed staying out there. Everyone there was lovely and helpful- when we got a flat tire, they found someone (affordable) to quickly fix it for us. And the food is incredible! We are vegetarians and we had lunch and dinner (and breakfast the following morning) and it was delicious and so memorable. Make sure to bring a flashlight, it’s dark at night! And you need to be able to walk up and down lots of steps.
