Great breakfast, staff, location (out of the city, free bikes to use among tropical trees and friendly local people), exceptional garden and really nice room.

Boasting garden views, Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market features accommodation with balcony, around 6.4 km from Vincom Plaza Xuan Khanh. The propeety is quietly ticked away outside of Can Tho city but only a 15-min grab ride away. It is a lovely property with plants, ponds and lots of trees. Human did such a wonderful job in hosting, his mom is a good cook and we loved the vibe of the place. Our room was big and very clean. There are enough fans and mosquito nets around the beds so you don’t need to worry about mosquito bites. There is even mosquito repellent in the room and all amenities for tea and mineral water. Human suggested we go to a coffee place together when he found out I like coffee. We had a great chat and he shared many insights. We have absolutely loved our stay here for all the reasons above and I can’t recommend staying with Human enough. He is also very helpful when it comes to organizing tours (we felt sorry we didn’t go on the floating market tour with him!) or a driver. Think about bringing cash to pay Human when you stay. We had a lovely stay, thank you Human!

With garden views, Mekong Delta Ricefield Lodge is set in Can Tho and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. I think this was one of the best place I’ve been in three weeks around Vietnam! The place is surrounded by green and tropical plants, the pool is super, the food was delicious and cooked by a local and kind Vietnamese cook. Martin is a special host, with his “speed boat tour” he took me to visit authentic and less touristic markets! I was traveling alone and with the other guests it was a bit like being with family :))

Queenie House is situated in Can Tho, 1.4 km from Vincom Plaza Xuan Khanh, and provides free WiFi. Ms Ngoc and Mr Sinh were very helpful. Ms Ngoc gave me the very useful tip to avoid taxi cost as the FUTA bus dropped me to hotel free of charge. Very responsive on messaging before I arrived as well. Good location and a 10 min walk to the pier where i took my own canal tour during the day. Made my Can Tho trip very easy.

Farmer Homestay was the best and most unique accommodation we experienced while traveling in Vietnam. After the overwhelming and fun experience in Saigon, this was such a peaceful setting to wake up to the morning birds' songs (and roosters). This place is a labor of love by Bosa, Phoenix and family. They will make you feel at home, with amazing home cooked meals, music and wonderful conversations. The hot inside shower was enjoyed by us, the parents, while the kids loved the outside experience. We also highly recommend Bosa’s tour to the floating markets and biking around the village. Bosa was very communicative right from the point we made the booking and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. We hope to return soon!

Located 11 km from Vincom Plaza Xuan Khanh, Boutique Lodge Can Tho Homestay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as free bikes and massage services. In one word: UNFORGETTABLE. First, the facilities are everything you could wish for (spacious, clean, comfortable and modern). Second, the location right outside of Can Tho is PER-FECT. You can grab the (free) bikes and roam around the village to soak in the local Mekong vibe. It’s not in the big city so you’ll really have that rural feel you might be seeking when visiting the Mekong Delta. Third, the food that was served to us every night at dinner was out of this world. Thuan goes to the fresh market every morning and prepares a feast with everything his guests love. We tasted so many things we had never tried before! Then, you have the tours offered by Thuan: very affordable and definitely a better experience than anything you’ll find on the market. Finally, a BIG « thank you » to our host, Thuan. This man is smart, funny and super dedicated to his guests. You will LOVE him and you should definitely stay at his guesthouse just to enjoy his presence, storytelling and happy water 😅

Thanh Ha Guesthouse has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in Can Tho. The property can assist guests with arrangements for private Mekong tours. Special diet menus are available on request. The guest house was spotless and the location is safe and close to the beautiful riverside walkway where the Can Tho market is and street vendors.
