With mountain views, Catba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort is situated in Cat Ba and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. A wonderful, quiet garden with a lot of flowers, papillons etc.. The people are so friendly and helpful, the food from their restaurant is really good (try the seafood hotpot!). The room (bungalow) was clean and there was everything what you need! A very very nice stay!

Very impressed by the hostel!!! I booked for one night but ended up staying several nights. It is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Feels like sleeping in clouds haha.. The bathroom is also very clean and comes with the basic toiletries. The breakfast is delicious and the host is amazing!!! She's very friendly and I felt like home the moment I stepped in the hostel. The pool table is one of the best ones I've played on in vietnam. I 100% recommend this hostel!

Thang is an amazing host. He helped us book transport to and from the island, and helped us with anything we needed before and after the stay. The place itself is amazing. You can explore the area on paddle boards or small boat. Activities like Deep Water Solo will pick you up directly from the home stay. I don't think you could book a more interesting home stay on Cat Ba than this.

I like specially the work of all the crew members, commanded by Mr Hill are very efficient and nice. And the food was amazing. All the dishes were incredible!! The view of the room was magnificent and the room was too nice!!

The breakfast very good; coffee, bread and good people around us. The place is beatiful, with a lot of flowers, trees, chickens, cat cat, and the owners lovely people.

We had the best time in CornerCatBa. The host family couldn’t be any kinder. Thanh helped us to book Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay tour, transfers from/to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, did the laundry for us, recommended restaurants and cafes and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

300 metres from Hospital Cave, Cat Ba Countryside Homestay is a recently renovated property set in Cat Ba and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. I liked everything. The location is lovely, you are in nature. The owners are super helpful. They can book tours and transport to your next stop. Food is good and the same price as in town, and the mattress was the best I have had since in Vietnam. I strongly recommend this guesthouse..
