One of kindest and sincere service received. Very friendly staff. Dananjaya +94773259104 The food is delicious cooked by Danajaya him self. Sambol, daal curry, egg and sprats with plain rice was a heavenly feeling . Desert was served. From the moment we arrived we felt the ambiance of the place which was very calming and relaxing. Rooms were very clean and included all the basic requirements with WiFi. (Bring your own toilet amenities) I was surprised to see a forestly environment like this so close to the Town and train station. Danajaya Fixed us a threewheel (Sampath +94768331648) to travel around and goes on any rough terrain. Sampath took care of us nicely helping us to plan the tour and stayed till our trip ended. Dananjaya helped us with the decorations for the birthday party we celebrated For the night, arranged a bonfire to make our stay special .(Seperate charges) The next morning we had String hoppers potato curry nd chicken curry which was great as our first day meal. Concept of the tents is remarkable and we would definitely recommend this place and we will visit this place again as this was an unforgettable experience.

The rooms were basic, clean and ours was quite small. Bed had a mosquito net and the breakfast included was ok. Staff were good and helped us by supplying a fan or arranging transport when we requested. I had a lovely moment when all was quiet and I was able to have a tea and enjoy the view and wildlife.

We swam, we were chilling in the hammock. Definitely a highlight of this accomodation and of Ella in general. The owner with his wife were an amazing hosts. Always smiling with good mood. They helped us arrange a trips around the ella, or they reccomended to us a way to travel to Yala. The food was good. The accomodation were great. We've been in two of them. Clean and spacious. The room is quite big, nice hot shower (very good pressure) and the breakfast is phenomenal. We were vegetarians and it was no problem for them to adapt. We felt completely emersed in Sri Lankan nature and wildlife. The staff were very welcoming and made us cups of tea on arrival. We ordered dinner to the room and the food was excellent and great value for money. We had to leave very early the next day for our Yala safari, but the team were there to greet us and had a takeaway breakfast ready at 4am! Great hidden gem amongst the Sri Lankan wildernesses!
