Very beautiful grounds, well maintained. Stella and her husband do a wonderful job hosting, she was such a sweetheart! She was very helpful providing local tips, made us coffee in the morning and helped us order dinner for delivery. She also introduced us to a local tour guide who provided us with additional tips, and tour recommendations.

This place exceeded my expectations: The space is HUGE (we almost felt guilty for having so much space for just two people) and the price is super affordable, it was almost too good to be true. Carlos arranged a taxi for us whenever we needed, as we did not have a rental car (I would recommend getting if you are trying to go back and forth between here and La Fortuna), but honestly we didn't want to leave the property. The pool, hammocks, pork, lights, and plants in the garden where everything we needed. We even had a sloth neighbor to watch hanging out in the trees! Went on a wildlife tour in La Fortuna, but honestly we saw all of the animals right here at the property! Had a night tour to ourselves at the house haha. 3 days was not enough time here, really really cool Costa Rican house, and Carlos is awesome!!!!! I've stayed at dozens of homes, hostels and airbnbs over the last 15 years, and this is my new favorite place ever.

This is a family-run business who cannot do more for their guests! All of the staff were so lovely, helpful, and informative about nature including giving us fruit picked from the trees! The breakfast every morning was delicious (defo go for the typical Costa Rican breakfast) cooked by the owners. We also ate from their restaurant which was YUMMY! Thanks to Chalets Silencio , we had a perfect stay with you! The nature here is breathtaking, the flowers, trees, fruits and so many animals!!! Note that the location of the lodge is outside of downtown La Fortuna but it was perfect for us as that's exactly what we wanted for two nights before moving to a downtown location :)

If you want to expierience Costa Rica, this lodge is the best place to stay. It is simple, but in the middle of the impressive nature. Therefore, we highly recommend the Tour through the jungle with our host, William - this was defently our Highlight! Speaking of our host, William and his Family are so kind and always up for advice. We also highly recommend having breakfast and dinner with William. It is very family like and really delicious. If you seek for transport just ask William, there a lot of private drivers - but this works very well! In a nutshell: this lodge is just wonderful!

The place was spotless. A little oasis with animals and natural pool. Grabriela and her family were most welcoming. She brought us not only delicious breakfast but fresh milk and fruits from their farm. And there was sloth baby!
