We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

Wonderful experience! Holger and Natalie were very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. The room was large, modern, and very clean. Location was super convenient and just overall a wonderful stay! Large grocery store nearby for any sunscreen or snacks and easy walking distance to many great restaurants.

I liked that we could open the glass doors and sleep with the doors open at night. Loved the view of the trees that gave privacy. Lovely setting.

The cafe is a great addition to this property. It is quiet and surrounded by iguanas, birds, monkeys and a river. The use of the wash machine was extremely helpful.

The 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms was spacious and bright. The pool area was beautiful and serene. The daily yoga class was wonderful and perfect for all levels of yoga expertise. The property is a short walk to the beach and all the lovely restaurants along the beach.

We loved this lodge. The moment we arrived to Samara, Denis reached out and explained how to get there. Waze works best in Costa Rica. Also if you rent the car, make sure to rent a higher one because some roads are pretty bumpy and you would need to push it. But it’s normal there. Once we arrived, they met us by the entry with warm hello, showed us our place, greeted and let us be. Breakfast was delicious and very thoughtful, based on our needs. Denis was so helpful. He answered all our questions, always within minutes replies to my messages. He also recommended bunch of places. Our lodge was clean and replenished daily. The view is great, private. Overall amazing stay! Highly recommend. Lovely owners! Thank you guys!!!!!!

This place felt like home away from home! The room was nice, the common kitchen was amazing and clean and had everything you need for cooking your own meal. The hotel also offers a laundry service that we used and were happy about. The stuff were nice, especially the reception crew! They helped us with everything we needed. Hope to be back soon!
