There is also a great heating system too as the temperature got quite cold at night. A brilliant little spot.

Dining and drinks were excellent and great value for money. The waiters were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a work in progress, so we look forward to the new additions when we return again. We took a walk around the property and the cabins available to book look lovely. We did not make use of the spa facilities but will do next time.

We stayed for one night while doing a road trip around island but it would be perfect for a longer relaxing break. It has a hot tub too. There are lots of books available relating to meditation and self care. This really is a gem and the owner is on hand should there be any questions during the stay. Perfect location, really quiet but close to all shops, bars and restaurants and with a gorgeous view of the forest. Hosts were very accommodating. We thought we’d be arriving early so they made sure the chalet was ready (we ended up arriving late - sorry about that)! We’ll definitely be returning! (If the hosts will have us back - I have a feeling we were noisy when we returned from the wedding - I blame the amazing Irish hospitality)!!MoiraYoung couple
