If you have a dog the 'doggy' basket with a few essentials was a nice touch. All you could need to self cater too. The views from the cabin at yhe top of the garden were great. All round definitely a great base to explore from and come back too, with parking a stone throw away. What was not to like.

The staff were very charming, unpretentious and made you feel very welcome. The hotel is still being decorated and upgraded, which was no problem whatsoever but I would tell the decorator to get rid of the goat portrait in uniform above the fireplace; it's a horrific cliche of every 'boutique' hotel!

Traditional high ceiling rooms with fireplaces in many of them. Lovely garden with raised decking where you can sit and relax looking out to sea. This is a five star stay.

Well-equipped kitchen and lots of space for our family of four, including a lovely terrace. The beds were comfortable and our youngest child loved the extra cabin bedroom. Lots of shops nearby, including a Co-Op for food. Beautiful cliff walks close to the house.

Nice fluffy towels like home. Lots of cutlery but no wooden spoon to cook ....and parking is on the road but always found spaces. Lots to do and great with bikes. Thank you for this lovely cottage.
