The accommodation was well presented, clean and well stocked with essentials not to mention things that were above my expectations. There were plenty of breakfast supplies as well as toiletries in the shower room. Although I never saw the hosts (it was after all Christmas), I was able to communicate with them them easily via WhatsApp.

The lodge was in a nice setting and bed comfortable once in it. I did like the quirky little lodge. But hosts need to even out a few teething problems.

The cosy hut, a property with a terrace, is situated in Faversham, 14 km from Canterbury WestTrain Station, 14 km from Canterbury East Train Station, as well as 15 km from Canterbury Cathedral. Located 12 km from University of Kent, the property provides a garden and free private parking.

Very cosy, good location. When you wake up in the morning, the view of the farm and land is amazing. Got quite a nice seating area outside with a BBQ (which we didn't use due to weather conditions) but looked very nice. The room it self was very small but it had everything we needed. The furniture and the design of it looked of a high standard. Very good price and the staff were lovely. I would recommend it to a few people. There is parking almost right outside of where we stayed. Area in general was very quiet, a nice place to stay if you want a getaway from the city.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Very tranquil and comfortable chalet with everything you would need. Some nice cereal and yogurt left for us. Shower worked very well and we slept very well. Bonus was the friendly cat who greeted us.

The cabin had its own entrance and little garden, so was private. It was spacious and clean and excellent value in comparison to other accommodation in the area. Breakfast and chilled drinking water was left by the host, which was a nice touch.

Fab location for our Beach hut day on Tankerton slopes. Was allowed to park my car in the hotel car park earlier than the time stated which was very helpful. Staff and rooms were lovely. Will definitely be booking again

The hut was just so sweet. The little cafe cabin a few yards away totally saved the day with great fish and chips for dinner and great coffee in the morning. We stayed one night, had brilliant sunshine and that was just enough. Oh and the Hotel Continental did a huge scone and pot of tea.

Great location right opposite the beach and very easy walk into the centre of Whitstable. Lovely, crisp, boutique style decoration and furnishings with seascape paintings all around the hotel and in rooms. Wooden floors, shutters and painted wooden panelling in rooms. Clean and well presented room. Small bathroom, but quality fittings and a good sized walk in shower. Small balcony with a couple of chairs. Friendly, efficient receptionists.

Lovely find. We travel to Whitstable often as we have family in Canterbury. Well kept comftable caravan. Very clean and plenty of space. Would consider hiring the beach hut next time as with grandson it would be helpful. The journey this time was very difficult. Contact with the friendly and pacient lady was very helpful as unfortunately we were late. The milk and water was a lovely welcome and she even offered to make us a cup of tea. Huge thank you.
