The property was very clean, beautiful and exactly what we saw on pictures. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great but not if you don't have scooter or other transport, it is not near the central way or beach by feet.

The Cinnamon Lodge is really great! It is well equipped with everything you need and perfectly build. Especially the kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. It was a real pleasure to stay here. We got a delicous lime juice as a welcome drink and they also surprised us with fresh fruits from their garden. We loved the feeling of being in a treehouse in the jungle and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location right on the beach and very well kept. Rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, varied every day including Sri Lankan delights!

Very lovely happy and smiling manager who is always ready to help with what ever you need. Clean spacious room with super comfortable bed. Good hot shower. Good location walking distance to the beech and many restaurants. Great place to stay in mirrisa.

My recent stay at Charming Dark Lodge in River was nothing short of exceptional, marking it as the best homestay experience I have ever encountered. From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Very unique place with 2-level rooftop and a cozy bar with awesome view. The room was comfortable and with a great view also. The staff is very kind and friendly, I enjoyed having a chat with them!
