We stayed 6 days in this wonderful hotel and it was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip in Sri Lanka!!! The hotel is located in front of the beach and guarantees full immersion in the natural frame with the breathtaking view on the sea and at same time with the comfort and services of the luxury hotel. Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!! And the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff are just outstanding and make you feel being home. THANK YOU for the stay that we will remember as one of our best hotel stays!

Amazing tree house in the jungle. We can able to cook a dinner because the chicken are small but with all supplies.

En oase på stranda. Perfekt beliggenhet midt på Mirissa Beach med mange restauranter på alle kanter. Likevel skjermet og rolig inne på hotell området. Personlig og hyggelig med kun 6 rom. Fantastisk hyggelige mennesker som driver og jobber på hotellet. De gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha det bra og var veldig behjelpelig med både tips og organisering av utflukter. Eier fortalte at han skulle holde stengt i juni 24 for å pusse opp hotellet. Vi fikk nydelig frokost på utsiden av rommet når vi ønsket. Anbefales på det varmeste!

From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special.
