Rob and Susie greeted us as well as Biscuit and Coco the dogs with open arms which made us feel at home straight away. We stayed in the villa which was beautiful just a nice amount of space and the beds were the best by far having slept in 14 different accommodations on our journey around New Zealand. Rob and Susie are enthusiastic about local produce, Rob is passionate about the local wines that is produced from down the road and Susie grows fruit and vegetables on site. We had 2 evening meals which I highly recommend from plot to plate which was truly amazing and so tasty.

Castlepoint Beach and Riversdale Beach are both a 1-hour drive from the property, or you can visit the Wairarapa and Martinborough wineries nearby. The Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre is 31 km from BK's Chardonnay Motor Lodge and there are many restaurants and cafes around the towns of Masterton, Featherton, Greytown and Carterton, all within a 30-minute drive away.
