Bus Station is 3.9 km from the accommodation, while Main Square is 4.5 km away. The nearest airport is Alejandro Velasco Astete International, 66 km from Spirit Of The River Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

The place is filled with love and tranquility. From the moment I checked in, I noticed the warmth of Claudia and Rudi to make sure we were happy. The firepit, the BBQ, and the wine for dinner were just amazing. On top of that, Tupac the llama-dog was so fun. He surely contributes to making everyone happy by being such as lovely pet. I highly recommend the Spirit of the River lodge.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The bed in the "deluxe private room" was the best I slept in, in months, but to call that tiny cabin a deluxe room is nothing but a joke.

Very close to city centre and has a nice common area to relax. They have book sharing which we liked. They have nice activities. Breakfast ok - eggs and white bread. Room had a cabin that you could lock with a pad lock.

Magic hotel in the San Blas district of Cusco. The hotel feels like a cosy wooden home with a colourful flower garden in the centre. The rooms are perfectly confortable and quite big. It's right across the road from San Blas Market and 10 minute walk from the centre of town. My favourite brekkie of the trip, the staff are super kind and make the best pancake and fruit breakfast.

The staff were very kind and helpful and helped us to plan a route to rainbow mountain for cheap prices. The garden and teepee huts are lovely but doors are fiddly to lock. Hot showers and toiletries provided. Could do with having a conditioner for hair.
