EVERYTHING!! This chalet deep in the mountain valley of Lake Bohinj is like finding a rare gemstone that is one of a kind. It is truly like being in Fairytale. The location, the amenities, the comfort, the attention to every little detail is outstanding in every respect. We have nothing but admiration for the dedication to quality and the theme of this lovely place. We feel fortunate to have stayed here and have promised each other a return visit when we don't get the rain. This place feels like we belong and are extremely happy with our visit here.

Clean, stylish furniture and modernly equipped kitchenette. We enjoyed the underfloor heating that made the temperature in the room so comfortable (we visited mid April, but we caught a cold front with some snow even). Perfect location, near the river, very quiet and pastoral with a walking trail near by. The owners were very friendly and helpful before and during the stay, and they also provide paragliding experience, which my teenagers did and enjoyed a lot.

The welcome from Jani and Doris was very friendly. The did everything to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They had a lot of tips on places to go in Slovenia. The house was very very very clean and the garden was perfect. The location is wonderful if you like the mountains and the peace at 1000m altitude. We could live there for the rest of our lives... We absolutely loved it, and Jani and Doris to :-)

Postaja Mir was a perfect choice to spend a week in nature, away from noise and disturbance. The cabin offered a rustic, old fashioned feel we like a lot; it’s incredibly soothing to be surrounded by wood but also have everything you need to get along. We especially enjoyed the location, went on hikes and chilled out in the garden every afternoon when the sun came out. Both the kitchen and the bathroom are comfortable, have all the tools you’d need and are easy to keep clean even on a longer stay. We felt calm and secure, hope to return someday.

Location was brilliant, 5 bedrooms, spacious, bright and well equipped, surrounded by a large garden, kids had ample place to run about (playing football and using other facilities) and next to the river, where one can enjoy a cup of coffee every single morning. Host was superb, very friendly ,welcoming and helpful. Just perfect place to relax and enjoy the whereabouts in Slovenia. Another benefits (a) that very near the accommodation there is a restaurant/pizzeria, with great food that one can order and pick it up. (b) next to the accommodation one can find a farm with fresh farm products.

Maja was a wonderful host. We would sit outside enjoying a glass of wine watching people and cows come by. Lake Bohinj is about a 15 min walk away from the chalet and there are the most amazing hiking trails on your doorsteps. There are also a a couple of restaurants in the vicinity but we enjoyed buying some produce from the small but well stocked shop 3 mins walk away and would light the fire and enjoy the beauty of a small working village and it's people.

Beautifull location in nature, the wooden chalet and the decoration inside in Bohinj style, the kitchen equipment with complimentary Illy coffee, the matrasses, the bedding, the lighting,... Perfect for 4 persons. A fairy tale place, the theme announced when you enter the location :-). We had snow in the mid of April, so we double enjoyed the fireplace and the sauna.

Plenty of space throughout and spotlessly clean. Katja was lovely and even picked us up from the bus stop because rain was forecast! Loved the location - Stara Fuzina has lots of working farms still and also has everything you need as a visitor - couple of good restaurants, supermarket, tourist info hut. About 10 minutes' walk to the lake and other great walks from the doorstep too.

There was a great selection for breakfast. The beds were comfy. The chalet we stayed in was brand new. We found out from the host that it was opened just recently.
