Situated on a cliff, this lodge features an outdoor pool with panoramic views of the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean. It offers free Wi-Fi and has spacious guestrooms with furnished balconies.

The views were incredible, the location very convenient and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend!

Candlewood Lodge is a 5-star bed and breakfast located only minutes away from the centre of town and boasts spectacular views over the Knysna Heads and Knysna Lagoon.

We loved everything. Mathias was so friendly and always concerned with all the details. The Lodge is definitely a 5 star place to stay. The best breakfast that we had in South Africa. If you are going to Knysna, you should stay here!

The place was absolutely breathtaking! It was even better than the pictures. Everything met our expectations and more. The jacuzzi was fantastic and easy to control. The cabin was stunning. And the shower is definitely my favourite. My partner and I explored the surrounding farms and forests and even met some of the cows. Lize is an amazing host. We will definitely be coming back soon. Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape with peace, beautiful scenery and fresh air.

1. Extreme attention to small details from the hosts. 2. Great interior style, great landscaping. 3. We were upgraded to a bigger cottage free of charge, enjoyed the view from the patio and the company of 10 beautiful dogs. 4. Highly recommend waking up early for an unforgettable jog across countryside. 5. Would definitelly stay again.

    Perfect location on the edge of a little forest with a lovely outside veranda. The host, Peter, is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended.
