Guests enjoy direct access to Stokes Bay Beach, one of Kangaroo Island’s most beautiful beaches. I absolutely loved this place. It is right above/next Stokes Beach, which was voted best beach in 2023, and has some of the best sunsets I have ever seen. When you have breakfast, kangaroos are hopping everywhere around your window (if you prefer to eat indoors). There are koalas in the trees a bit further and at dawn the wallabies come out. The owners make sure you have everything and even let us hand feed the kangaroos. I really enjoyed the silence of nature at night, this was my best sleep on my Australian travels (amazing blanket and pillow as well).

This holiday home provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.8 km from Christmas Cove Marina. Jess (our host) was so responsive. The view from the deck was stunning. Also, at night we could see kangaroos in the area around the car port because there was a motion sensor light which turned on when anything hopped by. That was such a great surprise.

Visitors to Discovery Parks - Kangaroo Island can enjoy a hike through the forest surrounding the park. Many guests see Australian wildlife such as a koala, kangaroo or possum. The park is in a fabulous situation being close to the western end and the Flinders Chase national park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely to wake up and see kangaroos and wallabies outside grazing and koalas comfortable on the trees.

Everything, the view is amazing, the wildlife, a beautiful echidna living in the front garden the house itself was spacious, comfortable beds, fantastic dining table for everyone to eat at. It was just perfect for us and had everything we needed.
