The staff was very kind. They cooked homemade breakfast and dinner everyday. They made everything so easy for us. The security of knowing that the owner and staff were really interested in making our stay safe and enjoyable was priceless. Many species of flowering plants, beautiful birds and butterflies too.

We absolutely loved the traditional food. The town was 1.5 km away. We walked it a couple times and it was great exercise!! They were also very helpful with any questions we had

Vanilla Hills Lodge menawarkan bungalow-bungalow luas yang terletak di hutan tropis yang rimbun di luar San Ignacio. The tree house accommodations were so beautiful and serene. There was a pond with a water fountain which made for great white noise to sleep to, along with the nature sounds of the jungle. The breakfast available for purchase was delicious - a big menu with something for everyone. The staff helped arrange a tour to the ATM cave, with transportation included. I would recommend Vanilla Hills Lodge if you're considering staying in the San Ignacio area! We had a rental care to get around the area which I recommend, but also met people who had all transportation coordinated by the lodge and they were also very pleased.

The rooms were just great, “chic” and superclean. It is a fantastic place! Highly highly reccommended. A note on the staff: -Crystal ( hope spelling is right!). She was superhelpful with info from booking to check-out. Great host - cleaners ( apologies as I dont know their names). Just fantastic! Also, I left a large amount of money in the room when we left ( thought I lost it somewhere else) . Everything was returned to me after few days. Chapeau!!

This property is immaculate - the attention to detail is unlike anything I have previously experienced. The staff all introduced themselves to us upon arrival and not once did they forget our names, our likes/dislikes in the restaurant or bar. It is private, quiet, surrounded by wildlife. The food is impeccable with lots of traditional dishes to choose from. Nothing was too much to ask - I cannot recommend this property more.

Location is top tier, we get to go the sleep and wake in the jungle. There are many trails around the camp where you can hike, go for a swim or just discover the ruins. Staff is friendly and helpful (Maddy drove me back to the bus stop), food was tasty, there is hot and drinking water, beds are comfortable ! I highly recommend you to stop at Lower Dover, you won’t regret it :)

Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.

Great staff and guide. Menu a bit overpriced, other than that nothing to report/mention, other than that we had a fantastic time here.

Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge terletak di San Ignacio dan tepat di sebelah taman Botani. Akomodasi ini menawarkan restoran dan area pantai pribadi. Akses Wi-Fi gratis tersedia di akomodasi. We couldn’t rate Sweet Songs highly enough! Everything was fantastic. First off the location is beautiful. Yes, it’s off a long and quite bumpy road but it’s totally worth it. The scenery and wildlife are incredible! It feels so peaceful within the Lodge. We stayed in a Casita which was also lovely. They had even laid out little petals across the bed when we arrived and we were given a welcome drink too. The food was also fantastic. Great options for breakfast and lunch, the dinner menu changed daily and they made great cocktails too. We saw no need to venture out of the Lodge as it had everything we needed food and drinks wise! Most importantly the staff were all so wonderful - they genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay and went out of their way to help you, but in a relaxed and friendly manner. We can’t wait to come back here!
