Vanilla Hills Lodge offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. The tree house accommodations were so beautiful and serene. There was a pond with a water fountain which made for great white noise to sleep to, along with the nature sounds of the jungle. The breakfast available for purchase was delicious - a big menu with something for everyone. The staff helped arrange a tour to the ATM cave, with transportation included. I would recommend Vanilla Hills Lodge if you're considering staying in the San Ignacio area! We had a rental care to get around the area which I recommend, but also met people who had all transportation coordinated by the lodge and they were also very pleased.

The property is well- hidden in a little bit of paradise. The rooms were just great, “chic” and superclean. It is a fantastic place! Highly highly reccommended. A note on the staff: -Crystal ( hope spelling is right!). She was superhelpful with info from booking to check-out. Great host - cleaners ( apologies as I dont know their names). Just fantastic! Also, I left a large amount of money in the room when we left ( thought I lost it somewhere else) . Everything was returned to me after few days. Chapeau!!

This property is immaculate - the attention to detail is unlike anything I have previously experienced. The staff all introduced themselves to us upon arrival and not once did they forget our names, our likes/dislikes in the restaurant or bar. It is private, quiet, surrounded by wildlife. The food is impeccable with lots of traditional dishes to choose from. Nothing was too much to ask - I cannot recommend this property more.

Offering free WiFi, Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is located a jungle lodge and hostel located just outside San Ignacio, with access to the Belize River. Location is top tier, we get to go the sleep and wake in the jungle. There are many trails around the camp where you can hike, go for a swim or just discover the ruins. Staff is friendly and helpful (Maddy drove me back to the bus stop), food was tasty, there is hot and drinking water, beds are comfortable ! I highly recommend you to stop at Lower Dover, you won’t regret it :)

Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.

Located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, this eco-resort is surrounded by a tropical rainforest with 140 km of private hiking trails. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and yoga school. Loved this place. Stunning location. Great staff and guide. Menu a bit overpriced, other than that nothing to report/mention, other than that we had a fantastic time here.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge is located in San Ignacio and is right next to the Botanic garden. Free WiFi access is available. The property is stunning, nestled between the botanical gardens and the Macal River. The landscaping is gorgeous and the facilities were great. I stayed for 3 days and did not leave the resort. The all inclusive package makes it easy, the food was superb. Staff was wonderful. Laid back atmosphere yet felt high class. Massages were great. Rooms 1-3 will have wifi as they’re next to reception building. The new pool is amazing.

It's a beautiful area decorated and planed with love. It's green and a beautiful pool is in the garden Sometimes a horse.
