My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc Cahuita NP next door and in centre of town There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice

We saw more animals on the hotel grounds than in the national park. Good access to the beach. Very private. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful interior. The staff is always ready to help you. Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Awsome garden and natural „zoo”. Also decent accomodation, nice pool and quiet area. Very friendly owners! Paradise

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. Everything was great. Quiet place to stay and relax. Very friendly staff.

Alberto the host is a super friendly stand up guy who comes with homemade breakfast every morning and never hesitated to help out and give good advise. He even called the airline for us to talk to them in Spanish when our bag was lost. The houses are simple but clean and cosy. We saw sloths nearby, hummingbirds and butterflies in the garden and heard the howler monkeys all the time. Close to a nice beach that is good for walks in the mornings and also a great restaurant within walking distance.
