Large, artistically designed cabanas in the jungle,abutting Corcavado National Park. This site has it's own naturalist who was very knowledgeable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The sounds of the jungle were very relaxing.

La Amapola Lodge, Bungalow en Península de Osa ligger i Barrigones. Der tilbydes indkvartering med egen pool, terrasse og udsigt over floden. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Finca la Bonita, Playa Carate ligger i Carate og har udsigt til haven, restaurant, have og terrasse. Samtlige ferieboliger har terrasse med bjergudsigt. Puerto Jimenez ligger 42 km derfra. Place, surrounding, wildlife was stunning! We saw more animals than on the Corcovado NP tour! Team was very nice and helpful and prepared us delicious meals 😃

Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula ligger få skridt fra Rincon-stranden og tilbyder indkvartering, restaurant, have, terrasse og bar. This property is beautiful. I loved how it is right by beach, literally from my bungalow to the beach was a 1 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, I loved the large front porch where you can sit outside and enjoy coffee or read and watch all the wildlife. This place is also run by a native tico family, and they make you feel like you are at home. There is a restaurant and bar on the property with great food and drinks!! You can grab a mojito and chill in the hammocks by the beach to watch the amazing sunsets. A little tip I would say is it bring cash because you will need it for boat rides and it’s better to pay for tours and food with cash to save some money on taxes. The WiFi is not the fastest speed but I was able to work completely fine from it. I would definitely recommend staying here, this place is absolutely gorgeous.

Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach ligger i Cabo Matapalo i Puntarenas-regionen, 200 m fra Tamales Strand. If you love animals and like to be surrounded by nature, then this is the best place to be. While we were there we saw hummingbirds, macaws, toucans, halloween crab and two different types of monkeys. All of them in the garden of the property. The plants and trees attract the animals. The hosts are very friendly and gave good advice about things that can be done nearby (e.g. horseback riding). Their 3 dogs and 2 cats are adorable. We miss this place already. Be aware that you are in a less-developed area of Costa Rica with limited options of restaurants.

Amazonita Ecolodge ligger i Dos Brazos i hjertet af junglen, 16 km fra Puerto Jimenez. Der er gratis privat parkering på stedet. Samtlige ferieboliger har opholdsområde. Zephirin has created a paradise at the end of the world, which is nicely taken care of by Zulay and her husband. It is really at the end of any roads and tracks going into the jungle (4WD recommended). But this is what we liked most. We stayed in the last cabin with a huge rain forest behind us. Our cabin was open, though very nice and clean. We could stay endlessly on the terrasse, observing the rain forest with all its animals. Never do a Costa Rica trip without Corcovado and Amazonita Ecolodge!!! It was clearly our highlight (and we have seen a lot other places)!

WOW! This place is a GEM! We were not expecting the beauty and serenity all around us. The paved paths to the main area were so beautifully maintained and landscaped! Our bungalow was secluded and very clean. The owners, Jutta and Alex were so gracious and we enjoyed meeting their family, as well. It had a very 'family' feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious and we chose to stay and buy our dinners there. We're so glad we did. This place is small and there was only one other couple there so it had a very intimate feel to it. My husband and I loved hiking all their trails and saw so many birds and monkeys there! Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, warblers, wrens, parrots, and more! The monkeys came through the forest every afternoon, making spectacles of themselves and added to the joy of our stay. Oh...and don't forget to take a cacao tour! This place is a cacao plantation!! (we brought some cacao nibs home with us and they're perfect for vanilla ice cream topping!)

Skøn beliggenhed, meget smuk og frodig natur. utrolig serviceminded personale, Lana (ejeren) er rigtig sød og tager sig meget af sine gæster og vil gerne have alle har et godt ophold. Aber, Papegøjer og Tucaner kommer hver eftermiddag på besøg, gode stier rundt i skoven, men det er hårdt pga. fugtigheden og stigningerne, men super skønt.
