Bungalow en Península de Osa er staðsett í Barrigones. Býður upp á gistirými með einkasundlaug, verönd og útsýni yfir ána. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Gististaðurinn Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula er staðsettur í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Rincon-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, garð, verönd og bar. This property is beautiful. I loved how it is right by beach, literally from my bungalow to the beach was a 1 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, I loved the large front porch where you can sit outside and enjoy coffee or read and watch all the wildlife. This place is also run by a native tico family, and they make you feel like you are at home. There is a restaurant and bar on the property with great food and drinks!! You can grab a mojito and chill in the hammocks by the beach to watch the amazing sunsets. A little tip I would say is it bring cash because you will need it for boat rides and it’s better to pay for tours and food with cash to save some money on taxes. The WiFi is not the fastest speed but I was able to work completely fine from it. I would definitely recommend staying here, this place is absolutely gorgeous.

Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach er staðsett í Cabo Matapalo á Puntarenas-svæðinu og Tamales-strönd er í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð. If you love animals and like to be surrounded by nature, then this is the best place to be. While we were there we saw hummingbirds, macaws, toucans, halloween crab and two different types of monkeys. All of them in the garden of the property. The plants and trees attract the animals. The hosts are very friendly and gave good advice about things that can be done nearby (e.g. horseback riding). Their 3 dogs and 2 cats are adorable. We miss this place already. Be aware that you are in a less-developed area of Costa Rica with limited options of restaurants.

Amazonita Ecolodge er staðsett í Dos Brazos, í hjarta frumskógarins, 16 km frá Puerto Jimenez. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði. Zephirin has created a paradise at the end of the world, which is nicely taken care of by Zulay and her husband. It is really at the end of any roads and tracks going into the jungle (4WD recommended). But this is what we liked most. We stayed in the last cabin with a huge rain forest behind us. Our cabin was open, though very nice and clean. We could stay endlessly on the terrasse, observing the rain forest with all its animals. Never do a Costa Rica trip without Corcovado and Amazonita Ecolodge!!! It was clearly our highlight (and we have seen a lot other places)!

We were not expecting the beauty and serenity all around us. The paved paths to the main area were so beautifully maintained and landscaped! Our bungalow was secluded and very clean. The owners, Jutta and Alex were so gracious and we enjoyed meeting their family, as well. It had a very 'family' feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious and we chose to stay and buy our dinners there. We're so glad we did. This place is small and there was only one other couple there so it had a very intimate feel to it. My husband and I loved hiking all their trails and saw so many birds and monkeys there! Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, warblers, wrens, parrots, and more! The monkeys came through the forest every afternoon, making spectacles of themselves and added to the joy of our stay. Oh...and don't forget to take a cacao tour! This place is a cacao plantation!! (we brought some cacao nibs home with us and they're perfect for vanilla ice cream topping!)

Luna Lodge er umkringt suðrænum regnskógi, með fossum og náttúru. Það býður upp á ótrúlegar náttúruferðir, jóga, heilsulindarmeðferðir, lífræna sundlaug og ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet á almenningssvæðum. Every meal was just delicious, and the amount of food is enough for any appetite. Coffee/tea always readily available. Boots, walking sticks and umbrellas also available to everyone. Our party got upgraded from tents to bungalows, as we were the only people checked in for our 3 night stay - something we really appreciated (thank you Raquel!!!). The location is simply breathtaking, and the drive up to the lodge is something out of a movie. Just bear in mind you need a 4x4 vehicle with a high suspension to get there. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating- I cannot thank them enough for how they treated us and made the stay very, very pleasant. We did a hiking tour with Marue (I'm sorry for the spelling if incorrect), which was super special! All-in-all, Luna Lodge is a bucket list stay and a must if staying in this area!

Kalea Yard Hotel er staðsett í Puerto Jiménez og býður upp á útisundlaug. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði í þessu suðræna smáhýsi. This was such a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and smelled absolutely wonderful. The garden was a small paradise with lots of lizards and monkeys and birds in the trees. The pets (little fluffy dog Bruno and cat Gatita) really made our stay perfect for our kids! The owner was very sweet.
