I was awake every sunrise to see the amazing sunrise from our big balcony. It’s just outside Santa Elena , only a few minutes by car. So peaceful and offering a complete privacy. The room was clean, had TV, fridge a kitchenette and spacious bathroom. A must if in Monte verde !

The entire place is just beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We got to watch and hear howler monkeys as well as a Kolibri while swimming in the pool surrounded by lush green plants and trees. Especially worthy pointing out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the host. After mentioning to Mike that I quite bad ear pain he came back to me with his own medication and even let me keep them after we went on to Montezuma and Uvita. Literally saved my holiday, thanks a lot Mike!! Apart from that very open Host who was able to provide tons of information and recommendations not only on Mal Pais and Santa Teresa but also other places like Montezuma. All in all, a perfect stay!

The property was in an incredibly beautiful location, the hosts are very nice and were very helpful with local attractions and organizing tours. The house is very cozy, with amazing views, and a wood fireplace which made the evenings extra special. We made good use of the kitchen, which was well equipped. The house is very well maintained and was very clean.
