Boasting river views, The Sett on The Wharfe provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 38 km from Royal Hall Theatre. Everything was great. You never know when you book someone's backyard guest house, but the engineering and design of this property was superb. Down a slope from the main house, which is not visible at all from the accommodation, with a huge wall of windows facing the river and the Wharfedale, looking across to Grassington. View off the porch when we arrived is included here. Location was great - easy walk to Grassington and easy access to plenty of public footpaths in the Dales. Hosts were friendly and gave us all the space we wanted. Good recommendations for food and activities and walks. Do yourself a favor and read the Grassington book when you first arrive. We walked the village and later wished I had looked at the book before striking out.

Set in Horton in Ribblesdale, 47 km from Lancaster, Ribblesdale Pods offers a garden and free WiFi. The pods were fantastic! Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything we may need and were extremely friendly and accommodating. We wished we could have stayed longer than 2 night. The hot tub was a real bonus and the perfect place to relax after a day of walking.

The room was exceptional. so well thought out. The staff and food was were amazing. Just cannot say enough about the place. The village is beautiful as well.

High Parks has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bedale, 19 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. Chocolates a nice touch. Perfect for a stay in the country. Staff were very accommadating
