Boasting river views, The Sett on The Wharfe provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 38 km from Royal Hall Theatre. Everything was great. You never know when you book someone's backyard guest house, but the engineering and design of this property was superb. Down a slope from the main house, which is not visible at all from the accommodation, with a huge wall of windows facing the river and the Wharfedale, looking across to Grassington. View off the porch when we arrived is included here. Location was great - easy walk to Grassington and easy access to plenty of public footpaths in the Dales. Hosts were friendly and gave us all the space we wanted. Good recommendations for food and activities and walks. Do yourself a favor and read the Grassington book when you first arrive. We walked the village and later wished I had looked at the book before striking out.

Situated in Hutton le Hole, 17 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, and Dalby Forest reachable within 24 km, The Crown, Hutton le Hole offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they were so welcoming! We had an 18 month old Labrador with us, she was made such a fuss off, very dog friendly. Food was lovely, it is such a cosy welcoming pub. The accommodation was lovely, nice little hamper left for breakfast and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and big! Great location for walking and visiting other towns near by.

With barbecue facilities and a garden, The Jonas Centre features accommodation with free WiFi. The lodge offers a children's playground. Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. Modern, clean cabins, friendly staff. Been to stay 4 times now and already booked for next visit

High Parks has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bedale, 19 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. Our stay in High Parks was great: the cabin we stayed at was very cosy and extremely clean. We appreciate Sean and Jenny's availability and kindness, and their welcome gifts. We used the barbecue cabin, a great experience which we definitely recommend! Looking forward to visiting High Parks again soon, a great place for a trip to discover Yorkshire!

Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive self catering accommodation. The photos didn’t do the justice it deserved, one of the best places we ever stayed at. The place is well looked after and a very cozy place. The communication with owners before the stay and during the stay was exceptional. 100% recommend!!!

Boasting garden views, Beckside Lodge features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 22 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park. The owners were helpful and very friendly, the cabin was great with everything you would need, comfy bed and quiet location.

Set 8.3 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Blackberry Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. My wife and I stayed at blackberry lodge for 2 nights. The accommodation was lovely, with everything we needed including an iron/ironing board and hairdryer. Everything you would need in the kitchen with a fridge freezer cooker and microwave. The accommodation was lovely and bright and the host Maxine was so friendly and helpful and we even got to feed the lambs. We will definitely be booking to go back. It was so relaxing looking out on the farm with the horses and chickens. You won’t regret booking.

Keld Spring Lodge Retreat is located in Kirkbymoorside, 27 km from Dalby Forest, 38 km from York Minster, and 38 km from York Railway station. This is such a beautiful place so peaceful And the lodge was such a high standard as expected it met all our needs Will defo be back but for a longer stay Thank you

Sunflower Lodge, Lido Leisure Park, Knaresborough is a recently renovated holiday home in Knaresborough, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. It ticked all the boxes, as it was the right location for going to Harewood house for Emmerdale tour.
