Lovely little cottage! Cozy livingroom and a great kitchen! The only issue is the cottage’s proximity to the main house on the property so not a strong sense of privacy. The family dogs were a joy to play with and great entertainment. It’s located in a rural area outside of Dunmore and is very peaceful.

Doté d'une terrasse et offrant une vue sur la montagne, l'établissement The Hazel Hut est situé à Westport, à 19 km de la gare et à 37 km de l'abbaye de Ballintubber. We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x

Location is lovely and peaceful.Hosts are a lovely couple,who made sure we had everything we needed. The chalet was spotlessly clean.I cant wait to return again next year.
