It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Offering a garden and pool view, Greencliff Mirissa is situated in Mirissa, 2.8 km from Weligama Beach and 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. It was such an amazing stay! The people working on the property always made sure I have a good time and feel comfortable during my stay. Set in Mirissa in the Matara District region, Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa features a balcony. It is located 2.1 km from Weligama Beach and provides room service. Amazing tree house in the jungle. We can able to cook a dinner because the chicken are small but with all supplies.

Located in Deniyaya in the Matara District region, Rainforest Nature House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Best place we stayed at. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room and shared kitchen you can use, good airco, quiet, unbelievable breakfast, very sweet host,… everything you need.
