This is a fantastic residence. We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments 'Colibri' which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a few themes over our stay, we also enjoyed the Creole evening.The pool area was immaculate. We had a great welcome from the owners who spoke excellent English and they allow guests to continue to use the pool area and a bathroom if they are catching a late flight which is always really helpful. I highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Este alojamiento se encuentra en Cabarete, en la provincia de Puerto Plata, a 300 metros de la playa Encuentro. El hotel es hermoso, muy bien mantenido y limpio. La habitación muy cómoda y acogedora. La atención de Noel y Juan Carlos fue excepcional. Para el desayuno te sientes en un brunch. Queda solo a 5 minutos caminando a Playa Encuentro y en carro 10 minutos aprox de Sosua y Cabarete Centro. El ambiente es de surf y familiar. 100% recomendado.

The lodge is very nice, especially the outdoor bathroom. Loved the staff, very kind and pleasant to talk to.

I loved the peaceful location- down an unpaved track , elevated location with far reaching views. The hosts and their team of staff are just very lovely people- there is a sort of old school home away from home feel to the place. The food is just great in that there are plenty of really healthy options- fresh ingredients and home cooked items. They arranged for me to hike with a neighbour- a french lady who has 10 years experience of all the local tracks- on horseback and on foot...it was fabulous. It was great to have hot water and quality towels and bed linen. I really felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller.

The design of treehouse was unique and memorable. It felt like we were part of nature and not trying to escape it. For breakfast, the food and service were great. They offered daily specials and a vast menu. The central location on the island is great for exploring north and south. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.
