Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Stayed for 2 nights on either side of hiking Tongariro North Circuit. The hotel is meticulously clean, grounds beautifully manicured, with even all the pots and cups aligned the same way. You walk right onto the past by the river. Rooms were quiet and wonderful. You're off the main road so traffic is minimal. Highly recommended!!!

Great Lake views and an amazingly luxurious, enormous apartment. The best gardens I have yet seen in New Zealand. Fabulous hosts too. Loved the dogs who do enjoy a barbecue. Faultless.

Boasting mountain views, Whakaipo Bay Cabin Retreat Taupo features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 32 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. The view was truly incredible, I’ve never had such a luxurious bath before! The home was clean and had everything we needed.

Honestly, this is the best booking I've ever experienced. Comes with access to 8 acres of land, homemade bread & cookies, and fresh eggs. The room is lovely and Allie was really nice to introduce us to her sheep and chicken.

Wow wow wow, this is an amazing property, with upstairs living area. Which has superb views of the lake, and hills surrounding it, the property is modern and spacious and superb kitchen , we decided to eat in each night as this property was so good with great views, . Bedrooms lovely, shower good, and plenty of parking,

Featuring an on-site tennis court, The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge is located in Taupo. Each spacious suites offers elegant décor and some provide views of the surrounding alpine area. The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.

Wonderful, attentive staff. Excellent meals and catering to individual tastes. Beautiful dining experiences for breakfast, lunch and / or dinner. Top class.
