Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Stayed for 2 nights on either side of hiking Tongariro North Circuit. The hotel is meticulously clean, grounds beautifully manicured, with even all the pots and cups aligned the same way. You walk right onto the past by the river. Rooms were quiet and wonderful. You're off the main road so traffic is minimal. Highly recommended!!!

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Short drive to town and the beach. Very comfortable bed and clean facilities. Well equipped kitchenette and would recommend a room with the spa pool!

Great Lake views and an amazingly luxurious, enormous apartment. The best gardens I have yet seen in New Zealand. Fabulous hosts too. Loved the dogs who do enjoy a barbecue. Faultless.

Boasting sea views, Waiotahi Valley Lodge provides accommodation with a spa and wellness centre, a garden and a terrace, around 33 km from Miranda Hot Springs. Everything was perfect, we were very well received by the hosts. They are very kind and easy to communicate with. The house is bigger, the environments are pleasant and well heated. The room is a great size and very cozy, the bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom is very clean and well organized, the hot water shower is relaxing. The kitchen and living room have everything we needed, very complete and with clear instructions. The outside area has good parking, we also used the hot tube which was perfect for recovering after doing the Pinnacles Track. The location is very easy to find on maps. They know the area very well and all recommendations they made were great. Amazing breakfast, cozy rooms, splendid views, easy parking - for sure would go back there!

This accommodation is superb in every way, very spacious, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, good bathroom and fabulous view. Well maintained outside area, with deck, table and chairs etc, free on-site parking and excellent WiFi. It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
