A huge bonus was the onsite art museum/studio where our hosts invited us to paint traditional Chinese opera masks, after enjoying a delicious breakfast complete with eggs from their farm's chickens!

Shitaoyuan is situated in Sanyi, 37 km from Fengjia Night Market, 40 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, as well as 42 km from Taichung Railway Station. A quiet, cozy corner at the foot of the mountains, in the jungle. Extremely friendly and kind hosts. I heartily recommend it!
